Campaign ushers in ‘Intelligent Connectivity’

“Water management is one of the Middle East’s key challenges as it faces up to the problems of dwindling supplies and rapidly growing demand”, says Grundfos’ iSolutions Manager, Jens Skodt.

A new generation of ‘intelligent’ pumping systems is set to radically change the way that industries operate and manage their processes, according to market leading pump manufacturer, Grundfos Middle East, who is priming the revolution with a new campaign aimed, initially, at the region’s Water Utility sector.

“Water management is one of the Middle East’s key challenges as it faces up to the problems of dwindling supplies and rapidly growing demand”, says Grundfos’ iSolutions Manager, Jens Skodt.

“Our latest generation of intelligent pumping solutions has the potential to transform every application, reducing waste and improving efficiency across the board – from water intake, treatment and distribution processes through to wastewater handling and treatment. It is therefore crucial that we work together with our water utility customers to implement new systems as quickly as possible.”

Whilst Grundfos pumps incorporate the latest technology to ensure that they run efficiently and virtually maintenance-free, Grundfos iSolutions look beyond the pump to the complete system – using state-of-the-art pump intelligence to ensure that pumps, drives, control and protection systems, measurement and communication units are working together as a single integrated autonomous unit to censure optimal, energy efficient system operation.

Grundfos’ sales and technical teams will be working closely with existing and new Water Utility contacts, throughout the campaign, to advise and guide them into the new era of intelligent connectivity, and explain the benefits that the latest Grundfos systems can bring to their various processes.

Intelligent Connectivity is already delivering major benefits across a range of industries from water treatment to chemical and pharmaceutical processing and even food and drink manufacture.
