With the attendance of almost 20 sales engineers of Grundfos Egypt's distributors and staff, the firefighting training activities come as a part of GEG's distributors competencies development plan, activities started to last for four days 25-28 of March, 2013.
Guest speakers running training are Eddie Scott, application engineer, international sales, PPU and Andrea Benvenuti, director BS FF products META cluster along with Mariam Fares, Engineer customer support from GEG.
Training was previously pre-planned to deliver first two days to partners along with GEG staff meanwhile rest of two days will be delivered to GEG staff only. Four days are extended to cover general topics going through Firefighting systems, extending to pumps design and assembly, in addition to offer preparations and Grundfos Vs. others.
Training was coloured from the presence of a "state of the art" demo fire system installed in GEG premises, which enabled the attendees to look and touch what was presented on PPTs!
Training is meant to present face to face knowledge transfer not only via delivering materials but through open discussions between attendees and lecturers.
Development plan of Grundfos Egypt is just getting started yet to be followed by next steps pretty soon...
