Grundfos Service Partners achieve first ever AASP certifications

As Grundfos’ ground-breaking Audited Authorised Service Partner (AASP) program continues to gain momentum across the world, three of the company’s leading stockists in Oman, Dubai and Bahrain have successfully achieved the demanding  qualifying service levels in the program’s first-ever local independent external audits.

Oman Pumps, M.A.H.Y. Khoory and Areej Trading Est., who have been part of the Middle East AASP program since it was launched in March 2017, have been working closely with experts from Grundfos Gulf to improve organization and performance in areas directly linked to achieving service excellence.

With the AASP program designed to ensure that customers throughout the Middle East get the same high standard of sales and after-sales service from all members of Grundfos’ Service Partner network, the team concentrated on five key areas including Facilities and Employees, Branding and Communication, Environmental Evaluation, ISO Certification and Healthy and Safety.

After achieving significant improvements to all areas, the three companies took part in the audits, which were conducted over the past few weeks by an independent external specialist organization based on a set of demanding criteria laid down in the Grundfos Service Standard, and all three companies passed with flying colours.

As a result of their involvement in the AASP program, the Service Partners are now able to continually assess the competences of their service technicians, improve facilities and internal systems, and monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with changing standards and legal requirements in key areas like Health and Safety and the Environment.

A total of eighteen Grundfos Service Partners from across the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Turkey, who attended the launch event in Dubai in March, are now progressing AASP certification, with more audits planned for 2018.

Speaking after the audits, Henning Sandager Andersen, Area Managing Director of Grundfos Middle East and Turkey, said “Our congratulations to Oman Pumps, M.A.H.Y Khoory and Areej Trading Est. for being the first stockists in the Middle East to achieve certification to the demanding AASP service standards. Their achievement is a significant milestone in our progress towards service excellence, which Grundfos Gulf will be continuing and further developing with companies throughout our Service Partner network during 2018 and beyond.”
