Grundfos’ Cairo Plumbers Day a big hit
Following local reaction to their first-ever Plumbers Day in Kuwait, Grundfos has now taken the same winning format to Cairo with equal success.
Held in collaboration with Grundfos’ partner Egyptian German Industrial Corporate (EGIC), Grundfos’ Cairo Plumbers Day saw more than 125 local plumbers flocking to the venue in the City ready to be brought up to date on the latest new domestic pump products and developments – and to receive a refresher on some of their existing favorites.
With the focus clearly on the Grundfos Domestic Building Services (DBS) range, plumbers were taken through a full range of applications, from macerators to water boosting, drainage, rainwater harvesting and the latest submersible models.
With winter around the corner, the presentations also included a quick refresher on Grundfos pumps designed to keep households going when the weather gets tougher.
A range of different activities, including technical presentations, working group sessions and hands-on opportunities, provided attendees with tailored practical knowledge and enhanced application and installation skills and left them empowered to do their job with greater confidence and ability.
Once again, the highlight of the event turned out to be the ‘Best Installer’ competition, where entrants were able to demonstrate their skills and knowledge in a series of hands-on competitions designed to test speed and dexterity in assembling different domestic pump systems.
