The Capital Region of Denmark has recently inaugurated the world's largest and most modern plant for the treatment of hospital waste water.
The waste water from Herlev Hospital outside of Copenhagen will henceforward be cleaned so thoroughly that all drug residues, hormone-disruptors and dangerous bacteria are gone. In fact, the water comes out so clean that it can be sent directly into the nature.
Above you can watch the video from the inauguration where Niels Due Jensen, Chairman of The Poul Due Jensen Foundation, gave a speech alongside The Danish Minister for the Environment, Kirsten Brosbøl.
